Editorial Policies

Focus and scope

RDIPP publishes original interdisciplinary research in public, constitutional and administrative law, legal and technological innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and regulation, governance, public policy management and evaluation, fundamental rights, social participation, sustainability and development.

Publication frequency

The journal is published twice a year, with issues 2026/1 and 2026/2 in its first volume.

Peer review process

After editorial screening, suitable manuscripts are reviewed by at least two reviewers under a double-anonymous system. Reviewers have two weeks to answer invitations and four weeks to submit reports. Decisions may be acceptance, revision or rejection.

Digital preservation and archiving

The journal uses OJS, exposes metadata through OAI-PMH and maintains backup routines. Long-term preservation will be expanded as the journal joins compatible networks.

Fees and article processing charges (APCs)

RDIPP charges no submission, review or publication fees.

Funding

Editorial and technical maintenance is provided by Faculdade do Litoral Sul Catarinense (FLSC). Authors must disclose research funding sources.

Open science policy

All content is published open access. The journal encourages methodological transparency and responsible sharing of data and materials when legally and ethically possible.

Publication ethics and best practices

The journal requires originality, data integrity, responsible authorship and sound scholarly practice. Data fabrication, fictitious authorship, duplicate publication and other unethical conduct are not permitted.

Competing interests

Authors, editors and reviewers must disclose personal, academic, institutional or financial relationships that could influence the work or its assessment. Anyone with a conflict will not take part in the decision.

Misconduct, corrections and retractions

Substantiated concerns will be investigated with an opportunity to respond and an editorial record. Errors may lead to corrections or errata, while fraud or serious breaches may lead to retraction with a public notice.

Plagiarism and similarity screening

Plagiarism, improper text recycling and misappropriation of ideas are not permitted. Manuscripts may be screened with similarity tools and the results assessed editorially.

Inclusion and diversity

RDIPP promotes respectful, non-discriminatory treatment, diversity of perspectives and inclusive language.

License and copyright

Content is made available under the CC BY 4.0 license. Authors retain copyright and authorize first publication by the journal.

Use of artificial intelligence

Use of artificial intelligence in writing, analysis, translation, images or data processing must be disclosed. These tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain responsible for the content.

Privacy policy

Personal data submitted to the system are used solely for editorial, scholarly, administrative and legal purposes related to the journal and are not transferred for commercial purposes.
